KNOW How Valuable You Are…(best relationship tool ever)

… And never EVER let a guy determine your value. Too many women are unconscious of all the great qualities they bring to a relationship because they’ve subscribed to what they’ve been told in the past. What they don’t understand is, “you are who you are, not what others have told you you are.”

Sure, there’s something to be said for listening and seeing where improvements can be made as a human being. If you consistently find yourself being sidelined it’s important to examine yourself and see where growth can be made. But our brains have a survival instinct to ignore the positives and hold on to negative memories to avoid repeating potentially life-risking behaviours. Because of that, women can lose sight of how valuable they are and as a result, have relationship standards that are far too low.

Clarity of self is a vital factor in finding a great partner. Once you realize just how amazing you are you’re significantly more apt to attract an amazing partner. Remember, like attracts like!

Becoming cognizant of all your great qualities opens you to accepting recognition by someone else, and until you’re open to being acknowledged for being AMAZING you’re putting an invisible barrier between you and a sincerely loving and supportive relationship.

So take out a piece of paper today and write “I am” at the top. Think about everything you know is wonderful about you, and write it down. I am caring. I am thoughtful. I am affectionate. I am resourceful. What about what your friends say about you? I am funny. I am a good friend. I am sociable. I am fun.
If you haven’t written at least 40 “I am” statements you’re not digging deep enough. Keep going.

Put this paper on your fridge, and add more as they come up. Really make understanding yourself and all that makes you “wonderful, amazing YOU” a project. Know that as you grow and evolve there will be more to add!

Remember, like attracts like, so the more you love yourself the more you’re open to being loved.
